Stevenson and Knapp bring the "Old School Fury" to SCC #2

Ann Knapp had her first victory since coming out of temporary retirement. The "Queen of Cross" has reassumed her throne on top of the local cyclocross scene at her "home-like" classic Seattle course in South Seatac Park.

Russell Stevenson (BRI) took a commanding win, leading from the gun. In the early laps, Stevenson was joined by teammate Toby Swanson and quickly opened up a gap on the chasers. Halfway through, Stevenson dropped the hammer and pulled away from Swanson to come in for the solo win.

The Seattle Series continues next Sunday the 19th, tentatively at Kelly Creek Farm. Stay tuned to CyclingNW.com for updates, as the race may change location to South Seatac Park.
